Dale Wong
President and Chief Investment Officer
Dale has been active in the financial markets for his entire 30+ year professional career. He began with Chicago Research and Trading Group (CRT) as a member on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange trading Swiss Francs, Japanese Yen and Eurodollar options. As an Executive VP for Nationsbank TX he oversaw trading and risk management of the energy portfolio and later did the same as a Managing Director for Bank of America. In 2002 he co-founded Convergence Capital Group, a private partnership engaging in proprietary oil and gas trading arbitrage based in Chicago and New York.
Dale earned a Bachelors(BA) in Economics from Wheaton College (IL) and a Masters(MS) of Finance from Northeastern University. He is Series 65 qualified and is committed to upholding the highest fiduciary standards for his clients. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees of Wheaton College (IL) and Fuller Theological Seminary. Previously, he has served on the board of directors for the Fuller Foundation, and was a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the New York Mercantile Exchange options committee. He is also a director of the Chicago District Golf Association.
Dale and his family have lived in the Chicago area for most of their lives together. They currently reside in Hinsdale, Illinois where they raised their 2 college age children and are active at the Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church.
